Since its founding, PME has collaborated with contemporary composers and artists of all artistic stripes. Composers include John Adams, Dave Brubeck, David Lang, Meredith Monk; musical ensembles include The American Bach Soloists, Berkeley Symphony Orchestra, The Oakland East Bay Symphony, the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester; performers include indie-rocker Sufjan Stevens, avant-garde saxophonist/composer John Zorn, Berkeley’s Aurora Theater Company.
